New Features

  • You can connect Apple CarPlay and Google Android Auto wirelessly, without a USB cable!
    • Go to [Settings] > [Phone Connections] and press the [Add New] button to connect your smartphone. Wireless connection is possible only when both the Wi-Fi and Bluetooth functions of the smartphone are turned on.
    • When starting the engine, previously connected device is automatically connected. To use it, press [Apple CarPlay] or [Android Auto] in the [Home] menu.
    • Customers who previously used Apple CarPlay and Android Auto by using a USB cable should delete the device information registered on the smartphone and in the vehicle and then register again. You can delete a registered device by pressing the [Delete devices] button in the [Phone connections].

※ Please refer to the steps below on how to delete device information saved in the smartphone and vehicle.
[iPhone Users]
① Enter the iPhone's Settings > General > CarPlay menu and select 'My Car'. Select ‘Forget This Car’ on the screen.

② In the iPhone's Settings > Bluetooth menu, press the information button next to the device you want to remove and select ‘Forget This Device.’
③ In the vehicle system's Setup > Device Connections screen, select [Delete Device(s)] to delete the saved phone.
④ When an iPhone is connected via Bluetooth, CarPlay can be used wirelessly.

[Android Users]
① In the phone's Settings > Bluetooth menu, press the 'settings' button next to the device you want to remove and select ‘Unpair’.
In the vehicle system's Setup > Device Connections screen, select [Delete Device(s)] to delete the saved phone.
③ When a phone is connected via Bluetooth, Android Auto can be used wirelessly.

  • The EV menu in the split screen has been updated. Now, easily check your favorite, destination, and nearby charging stations in the split screen.
    • In addition to battery status and range, the status of your favorite charging stations, charging stations near your destination, and nearby charging stations is displayed on the screen based on the driving situation. Press the [More] button below the split screen to access detailed information on Charging Station Info.
    • If you have not registered your favorite charging stations, simply press the [Register] button to add them.
    • We've also included a power consumption graph for your vehicle, allowing you to monitor your power usage at a glance.

  • The system automatically closes windows when your vehicle enters a tunnel to prevent external air from entering.
    • To enable this feature, navigate to Settings > Vehicle > Climate > Block External Air, and select or enable [Tunnels]. (Default: Off)
      ※ Please exercise caution when the windows are closing to prevent any body parts from getting caught in the window.

  • Standard-class Gen5 Navigation (7 & 8 in. Touchscreen)


  • Standard-class Gen5W Navigation (10.25 & 12.3 in. Touchscreen)


  • ccNC Navigation

  • Premium-class Gen5 Navigation(12.3 in. Touchscreen)


    • New Features after map update vary by model and platform
    • If you own a new model not listed above, no updates are currently available
    • Please visit us again when the next map update is released


Disclaimer

  • Please only use the official NaU (Navigation Updater) software found on this website to download your map
    Downloading or copying it from other sources can lead to update failures and lead to critical issues to the navigation system.

  • If you experience any issues  while using the NaU software or before/after installation, please contact Hyundai Customer Care

  • If your navigation system has a SD card, you need to use SD card for updating the software and map 
    The SD card slot is located just below/above the vehicle display screen.
    • If your vehicle has a 16 GB SD card, please purchase a high-grade 32 GB SD card
       ~ Please do not use micro SD card ~
    • If your vehicle has a 32 GB SD card, please use it to update
      • Please do not use SD card to save music or other data files

  • If your navigation system does not have a SD card, you need to use a USB flash drive for updating software and map
    • Please format (ExFat) the USB before using the NaU software

  • When selecting your vehicle, make sure the model/model year are correct before starting the download process
    • If the wrong model/model year is chosen, the update cannot be performed

  • Please select the correct drive on your PC if you connect multiple media to your PC
    • Disconnect the media after only after confirming the download process is complete

  • Disconnecting the media during the download process can lead to corrupt files and a map update failure

  • Note:
    • This update provides software (that may include adding new features and removing others) and map data that may change user and interface experience
      After installation, it is not possible to revert to the previous software version.
    • Certain new features such as Connected Routing and Weather Data require active Bluelink subscription to access

  • Warning:
    1. During vehicle software installation, the vehicle must be running to keep the battery charged
      Do not turn off the ignition switch or eject SD card/USB during upgrade procedure.
    2. Updating navigation while idling may violate the relevant traffic regulation
      Please be sure to comply with your local traffic regulations before proceeding with the update. 
    3. How to double check your car is running
      - The start switch should indicate “ON” or the light on the start button is lit 
      - a software update could effect the functionality of aftermarket components (i.g. aftermarket rear view camera, speakers, etc.)
