[Vehicle Installation Process & Issues] Error Code / Message
Q - I got a “not compatible” error when I inserted the SD card. What should I do?
A - That error message can appear when the SD card is first inserted because the vehicle software has not been updated yet.
    Ignore the message and go to the System Info page in your Navigation system and press [Update]. Refer to the update installation manual for instructions.
    If the error message appears after pressing [Update] please contact us for assistance.
 
Q - I got an error message. What should Ido?
A - If possible, take a picture of the error message or write it down. Please contact us to report the issue.
 
Q - My update is taking too long and seems to be stuck. What should I do?
A - Update times may vary by model. If you believe there is an issue, please contact us to report the issue.
 
Q - What does “The hardware version is not compatible” error mean? What should I do?
A - This message is shown when the user has downloaded the update file for the wrong model. Go to the vehicle’s [System Information] menu to check the software version (S/W VER). 
    Go to the [Navigation Updater] program and enter the verison information into the box, "Search Using System Model | Name or Software Version", to download the correct file for your vehicle model from the drop-down list. Continue with the update download and installation in your vehicle.
     
    If this problem persists, check your S/W VER. and contact customer service to verify your vehicle model.
 
Q - What does “Map data on SD card is not compatible” error mean? What should I do?
A - This message is shown when there is a mismatch between the updated system of the vehicle and the Map data on the SD card.
    Go to the vehicle’s  [System Information] menu to check the software version (S/W VER). Write down the version information. 
    Go to  [Navigation Updater] program and enter the version information into the box with the text "Search Using System Model Name or Software Version" to download the correct file for your vehicle model from the drop-down list. Continue with the update dowload and installation in your vehicle.
